Since January 2026, Fabien Prioville Dance Company has been collaborating with MIREVI team (Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences), the team of LAVAlabs and Joseph-Beuys-Gesamtschule Düsseldorf on BeyondNow++ – building on the earlier DIGILAND project (2024).
The project brings together secondary school students with a focus on performing and visual arts, introducing them to digital technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Mixed Reality, and interactive media – through a lens they already know: art and the body. In hands-on workshops, young people develop their own digital art projects, ranging from live performances to interactive installations.
BeyondNow++ is specifically designed to reach students who don’t typically see themselves as tech-oriented, demonstrating that coding and computer science have a natural place in creative work. Sowings will take place in fall 2027.
