Our January tour with our current production Power Moves – Restage was a great success. Between Rheine, Leverkusen and Remscheid, one thing became clear: the combination of street dance credibility and a contemporary stage language resonates with the spirit of the moment and connects strongly with the audience.
Following its celebrated premiere in Aachen in early 2025, the piece returned to the stage with renewed energy. A cast made up of dancers from the original ensemble alongside new performers brings together urban dance styles such as voguing and krump, forming a powerful choreographic signature.
A special moment in every performance was the “Physical Introduction.” Even before the official start of the show, audiences were invited to physically engage with movement themselves – wrists circling, bodies warming up, powerful poses being explored. This created a noticeably different atmosphere in the auditorium from the very beginning.
